The JAI APEX Series Cameras are 3-CMOS prism-based RGB area scan cameras that provide better color fidelity than traditional Bayer cameras. The JAI Apex Series includes the Apex Medical Solutions Series, which provide the same exceptional color fidelity with higher dust protection, ideal for use in medical imaging.
Apex Series
The JAI Apex Series cameras are 3-sensor R-G-B prism cameras that separate the incoming light into red, green and blue wavelengths, which are directed to three separate image sensors. The Apex Series cameras provide exceptionally high quality color imaging, ideal for demanding applications in a variety of industries. The Apex Series cameras also offer precise spatial resolution, excellent for use in edge detection.

Apex Medical & Life Science Solutions
The JAI Apex Medical and Life Science Solutions is a series of 3-CMOS area scan cameras with advanced color imaging capabilities for a wide range of applications in the medical and life sciences market. The multi-sensor prism technology provides better color fidelity and spatial precision than traditional Bayer color cameras. The Life Sciences specialized Apex cameras all feature USB3 Vision interface and optional IR cut-filter for NIR capabilities. The LSX models are additionally designed for the prevention of Foreign Object or Debris (FOD) occurrence. The LS and LSX Models feature white housing, designed for use in hospital and clinical settings.
