Choose Your Module

Two complementary SWIR module families built on in-house InGaAs detector technology — area-scan for staring imaging, line-scan for continuous inspection and spectroscopy.

XSW — Small Area-Scan Modules

The XSW series delivers compact, high-sensitivity SWIR area-scan imaging based on Exosens' in-house temperature-stabilized InGaAs detectors. Three configurations — 320, 640, and Gated — cover everything from standard machine vision to ultrafast gated exposures. All share a 45 × 45 mm footprint and support CameraLink, GigE Vision, and QTE Samtec 16-bit DV interfaces.

Key Advantages

Built for Integration

Every XSW and XSL module shares a common design philosophy: exceptional performance in a minimal footprint with maximum system compatibility.

🔬

In-House InGaAs Detectors

All modules are built on Exosens-developed InGaAs CTIA ROIC detectors — temperature-stabilized for consistent low-noise performance across operating conditions.

Compact & Low Power

A shared 45 × 45 mm footprint across all variants, with power consumption as low as 2.3 W (16-bit DV). Ideal for embedded, airborne, or handheld integration.

🔗

Industry-Standard Interfaces

CameraLink Base, GigE Vision, and QTE Samtec 16-bit DV interfaces are supported across the full range, ensuring compatibility with existing vision infrastructure.

🎯

Global Shutter

Snapshot global shutter integration eliminates motion artifacts — critical for high-speed inspection, LiDAR synchronization, and moving target applications.

🌈

Extended Spectral Coverage

Standard 900–1700 nm SWIR coverage. The XSW 640 adds a vSWIR option extending range to 500 nm for combined visible and shortwave infrared imaging.

🔭

Flexible Optics

C-mount and M42 lens mounts on all modules. F-mount additionally available on XSL R. SMA trigger input on CL and GigE variants for precise external synchronization.
